MEET THE HOSTS

TALIA WHATCOTT & KENZIE ASHCRAFT

KENZIE ASHCRAFT

I’m a fifth generation farmer/rancher, wife of a fireman, and mama of two little cowgirls, Paisley + Scout. We live on the Oklahoma prairie, raising cattle, working alongside our family’s commercial hay operation, and I also own a boutique, Farm Girl, on the ranch.

I’m so excited to share more about homesteading and homeschooling with you all on the podcast. Stewarding the land, the bounty it blesses us with, and raising livestock is embedded into who I am. It’s a passion of mine to embrace a slower pace of living while reverting back to traditional homesteading. I am so grateful for a rich heritage who saw fit to hand this up-bringing down our family tree. It’s my goal to continue this legacy with my own family while encouraging you to do the same.

You can find me at my blog, The Farm Girl, subscribe to my YouTube channel, and shop my store at farmgirlboutique.com.

Talia Whatcott

I’m a western artist and illustrator, wife of a mountain man, and mama of two wild kiddos, Cheyenne and Briggs. We live in the mountains of Utah and plan to buy our own large piece of land so that we can raise cattle and I can have a milk cow!

I’ve been passionate about the western lifestyle since I was a child, and I desperately want my children to grow up close to the land and develop a deep connection with animals and a love for ranch life. I’m constantly seeking to incorporate the “old ways” into my life as a homemaker, for the health and happiness of myself and my family, and so that we always remember our heritage.
